What's your turnaround time?
Depending on the complexity of the text and our workload, you can expect the first proof within 7 calendar days of payment. Rush jobs are available but will cost more. We can discuss the exact timeline along with the other project details.

What exactly do you do when you format my ebook?
- Software: I do the work in Adobe InDesign, the best tool in the industry for precise layout work.
- Design: I create the “look and feel” of the book, making sure that it matches the genre and is easy on the eye. If you already have a print version, I make sure that the ebook matches it in style.
- Setup: I set up the document to ensure that it meets the publisher’s requirements.
- Front matter: I add copyright notice, table of contents, acknowledgements, and so on.
- Typesetting: I format the chapter numbers and titles, add anything else you require, whether it is images or tables or bibliography.
- Quality testing: I test your ebook on multiple readers before delivery.
- Handover: I present you with the source files and the final ebook files that meet the publisher’s requirements, look professional, and are a pleasant reading experience.

Quick changes can be made free of charge, but anything time-consuming (taking one hour or more) will be charged at an hourly rate of £25.
